ESTU Global
A market-leading AI bootcamp that takes learners from AI basics to deploying solutions.
The Challenge
Estu needed a practical programme that moved people from curiosity about AI to actually being able to build and deploy real solutions. The challenge was teaching people not just what AI could do, but how to identify viable use cases, build them safely, and deploy them in a way that business owners would trust. All whilst delivering demonstrable outcomes for government funders and senior sponsors.
Our Approach
We co-designed and delivered a ten-week Operationalising AI bootcamp. It started with plain-English foundations: what AI actually is and where it works in business. From there, we moved quickly into generating and prioritising use cases that mattered to participants' organisations. Learners then built and deployed simple, maintainable solutions using low-code and composable tools: Baserow for databases, n8n for workflow automation, and custom GPTs for AI capabilities. We taught the basics of good development practice (data handling, ethics, risk management) so solutions weren't just experiments but things people could actually use and maintain. The programme used diagnostic skill scans to tailor content, hands-on labs for practice, and reusable templates participants could take away. It concluded with an in-person finale where learners presented their projects to an audience of their choosing: colleagues, sponsors, friends and family.
The Results
The bootcamp created a practical pathway from understanding to delivery. Learners left able to specify, build and deploy working AI solutions without needing expensive consultants. We coached participants through developing prioritised, business-ready use cases and reusable templates they could take back for rapid deployment in their organisations. The in-person finale, where learners presented their projects publicly, delivered demonstrable outcomes and reinforced confidence with stakeholders and funders. Solutions were built with maintainability and auditability in mind, making them adoptable by business owners rather than one-off experiments.
What Made This Work
Participants walked away with working solutions they'd built themselves, not just theory. They left with prioritised use cases specific to their organisations, reusable templates they could deploy immediately, and the confidence to specify and build AI solutions without external dependency. The public finale proved they could deliver. We taught the basics of good development practice so their work was maintainable and auditable, not just experimental. Learners worked in teams throughout, building support networks that continued beyond the programme.
